Practice Manager and Accredited HypnoBirthing® Practitioner

Deborah Cuthill is a qualified HypnoBirthing® Practitioner. Deborah was fortunate enough to be trained by Marie (Mickey) Mongan the founder of the HypnoBirthing® Institute. Deborah originally trained as a Midwife in Victoria, Australia. Deborah’s many years in midwifery has seen her practice in Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland and also in Saudi Arabia. Deborah also has a Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training

Through Natural Birth P/L, Deborah has been instrumental in the re-introduction of HypnoBirthing® to Australia. Natural Birth has organised Institute Accredited Practitioner training in:

• Sydney (November 2005), 
• Melbourne (April 2006),
• Brisbane (November 2006) 
• Sydney (March 2007)
• Christchurch New Zealand (March 2007)

Deborah believes that for HypnoBirthing® to be a success in Australia that the Institute must achieve a certain critical mass of certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioners. The more advocates we have for HypnoBirthing® then the better chance pregnant mothers have of being educated that there are viable and empowering birth options available. Options that can offer a “Natural Birth”, a safe and calm birth without intervention. “At Natural Birth we are constantly amazed and shocked at the high intervention rates in pregnancies in Public and Private Hospitals. Clearly parents are just not aware of other perfectly safe and calm options for a Natural Birth”.

It is astounding that many women are simply not aware that a caesarian is MAJOR operation and can have traumatic downstream consequences. At Natural Birth we really do believe it is EVERY Child’s BIRTH RIGHT to have a Natural Birth!
